If the loss of substances in teeth is at an immense level due to trauma or caries, this is the most frequently applied method. In general, this is practiced on the back molar teeth. It is both resistant to the chewing pressure and satisfying in terms of aesthetics. They are so natural as not to be noticed with the naked eye due to being at the same color as the teeth. Fillings prepared in vitro are adhered to the tooth surface by using special cementing agents. There remains no need to cut the teeth and anesthetics and a natural appearance is acquired.
